Up and Running - Let's Encourage One Another

I thought I'd start a blog for our Women's Ministry to hopefully connect us more intimately. Especially for those of you who are not involved in Bible Studies, or small groups because life is so full. We want you to be more a part of us.

I'd love to have YOU submit your beautiful things to share here with our East Lincoln community. If you have a quote, a devotion, or something you've written yourself that you'd like to share with us, please email it to me, and I will put it up, giving you credit, of course!

Even a photo of your kids/grandkids with a quote from them would be fun!

The prompt for starting the blog now is that we are nearly to the one month count down for the Christmas Cafe. The title is something I came up with through texting with this years' speaker: Debbie Griffith.

This is our FIFTH year friends!!! And we want to make the message of the love of Jesus available to women in other churches, women who may not go to church, or who may not even know who Jesus is. We all know someone who needs encouragement, joy, peace, and hope.

And that is exactly what Debbie Griffith is all about! You can check out her website here.

So this year, we are having an email-blitz with the invitation inside as well as ticket-purchasing availability online here.

Please be praying with our Women's Ministry Team for the weather, and all the details to work well. also for Debbie's traveling down from International Falls, MN.

I will close with a passage of scripture that Mary Olson brought to my attention: (You will love THIS!!)

Then those who feared the LORD spoke with each other, and the LORD listened to what they said. In his presence, a scroll of remembrance was written to record the names of those who feared him and always thought about the honor of his name. Malachai 3:16
For further study, you can read it in other translations here.
Enjoy the glory of this day friends!
Love,
Kathy
